More pictures around Interlaken ...
(A bit out of order here). The day we went hangliding, we ate lunch in town and planned on taking a boat ride on the Brienzsee to see the Giessbach waterfalls. We had a lovely walk to the lake, however due to some confusion as far as where the boat launched, we ended up passing it and going way beyond where we were supposed to be. When we FINALLY got back to the dock, we had already missed the last boat.
Here are pictures of the Brienzsee while we lost wandering:
After our long walk, we headed back to our hotel. To our surprise, we discovered that a ferry was leaving from the lake on the other side of Interlaken (Thunersee), but we only had 20 minutes to get there. We grabbed out stuff and practically ran all the way across town to the dock. We made the boat with 5 minutes to spare. Here we are (sweaty and relieved) on the boat, and ready for our ride!

| Just after this picture was taken, it started raining so we headed inside the boat's cabin where we had dinner. |
As Dan pointed out, there was a bit of a disparity between our meals that evening.
| Over the course of the 2.5 hour boat ride, our ferry stopped at several ports in cities along the Thunersee. |
| We shared an Apfel Torte for dessert. |
| We saw several castles in the port cities as well. |
| We arrived in the town of Thun (pronounced tune) and decided to spend some time walking around before taking the train back to Interlaken. |
| We saw the castle in the distance and decided to walk to it. |
| Getting closer... |
| The sky provided a nice backdrop to this picture, don't you think? |
| We tried to get in but the doors were locked. |
| Back at our hotel for the evening. This is the Royal St. Georges at night. |
