Part 10: Gimmelwald and Murren

Taking the gondola up to Gimmelwald...

Gimmelwald

A Swiss garden

These water troughs were quite popular around Switzerland

Dan comes across a couple of friendly felines.
We came across a woman who made cheese and sausage. She invited us in where we bought some of each.

We make lunch out of our recently bought cheese and sausage... it was delicious!!

I'm very excited to see Swiss cows!

Our uphill hike to the town of Murren

I manage to brush against some plant that made my leg red, which eventually turned into welts. It went away by the end of the day.
The town of Murren

Chess anyone??

Look closely... this is a footbridge. In order to cross it, you had to strap into gear. We decided to pass on that one.
Views from the gondola...heading back down.

After we left Murren, we decided to check out Trummelbach Falls, a series of 10 waterfalls inside a mountain.

Back at Hotel Stechelberg

Time for some dinner!

We decided to take an evening walk around Stechelberg... here are a few pictures
