After Pisa, we headed to Vernazza, which is one of five towns that make up Cinque Terre The other cliffside fishing villages are Monterosso al Mare, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
The walk to our apartment. We were just a few minutes from the waterfront.
After walking around the town, we found a restaurant right near the water. Laurie and I splurged and got the lobster dinner for two. It was delicious!
And Marcus was a huge fan of the pasta.
Watching the sun set on Vernazza.
The next morning we headed out on a hike along the coast that took us to three out of five of the Cinque Terre towns.
Marcus enjoyed the hike too!
All that walking made Marcus tired!
Another sleeping shot... not sure how that comfortable, but when you're tired, you're tired!
We stopped here for some lemon Italian ice.
Waking up..."wait, where are we??"
Heading down the beach...
The lovely town of Manarola...
The waitstaff at this restaurant kept Marcus entertained by stacking cups
We took a boat back to Vernazza
Later that evening, we took a sunset boat tour from Monterosso.
A little Prosecco, cheese and bread...
We cruised over to another town for tapas and then hit the water to watch the sunset...
