Last weekend, we had a visitor in town! My friend Laurie, since I've known since junior high, came to visit us from Chicago. We had a great time catching up and enjoyed some beautiful weather on Saturday. She brought delicious homemade cupcakes and some cute new outfits and a book for Marcus. Thanks for coming, Laurie!!
It's been a quiet week and cooler weather has kept us inside for the most part, aside from the occasional errand. Marcus has been making a lot more talking sounds lately, and attempted a partial roll the other night. It seemed like he really wanted to roll over, but just couldn't do it! :) Last week, he dropped his midnight feeding and only woke up once to feed. That happened for four straight nights... but over the weekend, he went back to the original schedule and is now back to waking up twice a night. Hopefully, he will revert back to that new "waking up only once a night" schedule soon!
Marcus is still mesmerized by his animal mobiles both in his crib and pack 'n' play, and we are continuing to work on tummy time to strengthen those neck muscles, though he really dislikes being on his stomach. :) We're going to see if propping him up on the Boppy pillow helps.
Our little guy seems to be changing and growing every week, as evident by the photos!
