Marcus Week 2

Our little Marcus is doing well! Grandma Fox took the train down from Chicago to stay with us for the week, while Dan headed back to work. We are grateful for the help, especially with loads of laundry, as I'm still recovering from the c-section! Feeling better each day though and hoping by next Saturday I'm able to start driving again.

Marcus had many more visitors this week...our friend Brianne stopped by to let us take showers and eat while she watched her own little Connor, plus ours; Carrie came by with spaghetti, meatballs, salad, and dessert; Alan and Anna paid a vist, bringing pastries; our next door neighbors Jess and Aaaron stopped over with their their three-week old Cora; and Bob Lail stopped by with French beef stew and mashed potatoes. So lucky to have many generous and thoughtful friends and family!!! It can't be said enough!

Unlike last week, Marcus has been a little more fussy, and feeding/sleeping at more random times during the day. The nights are still have been good as he's averaging three feedings and falling back to sleep fairly quickly. He had his two-week check up with the pedatrician on Thursday and he's weighing in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces. The doctor said he's doing great so we won't go back until his two-month check up.

Thanks for visiting and see you next week!!
Breezy multi-tasks, reading to Connor while keeping Marcus quiet and calm.

Our neighbors Aaron and Jess show up in matching onesies with their daughter Cora. Awesome!

Marcus has a profound thought while hanging out with Grandma Fox.

Our friend Bob visited Marcus and brought us dinner.
