Thanksgiving in Vegas

Finally getting around to posting pictures of our trip to Las Vegas over Thanksgiving! Only 2.5 months behind!!

We spent almost a week enjoying family time with Dan's parents, sister and her family. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner and surprised Dan's mom and dad with tickets to see White Christmas at a nearby theater for their anniversary.

Alex and Grandpa spend some time catching up...

...while the boys wasted no time getting the toys out and playing.

One of the first days, the weather was in the 60s so a group of us went out for a hike in Red Rock Canyon. It was gorgeous and we had some great views from the top!

Making our way up the mountain...

Judah was a trooper and walked the whole way himself!!

We stopped for some snacks and water.

Another night, we went to a Christmas Parade and the boys got to see it "snow" :)

Judah and Marcus were excited about the candy that was passed out by the singers and dancers.

Here come the floats!

Julie took us to the Spring Preserve with was an outdoor nature area with animals and gardens. The boys loved running around here and even got to crack open geodes.

These guys are ready for some geode cracking!

After all that hard work, it was time for a snack.

And we're off again!

This time to check out some reptiles...

... and caves!

Just Alex and his Auntie spending some time together.

The marble track toy kept the kids AND adults entertained.

The boys found a dirt pile. Nothing more to be said.

Dirt. Everywhere.

Marcus received the longest bath of his life.

Judah kept Alex entertained by swinging his bouncer.

Judah and Marcus were very good helpers in the kitchen.

Pajama twins!

Ta-da!

Last picture with Grandma and Grandpa before they headed back to Minnesota.

For our last night, Julie and Jay took Alex, Marcus and Judah to a Winter Wonderland Festival where they went down slides, rode a merry-go-round and in general had a blast! Meanwhile, we headed to dinner on the Strip and our on way, stopped at some shops and saw the Bellagio Fountains.
