Over Labor Day weekend, Dan and I took the boys to Iowa to see Dan's grandmothers. We decided to make a quick stop at Iowa State first!
"Wow, that's tall!" Marcus says looking at the campanile.
Then we headed to Hickory Park for a late lunch!
We met up with Dan's parents in Des Moines where Marcus got a ride on the hotel luggage cart!
Alex meets the family! Dan's Aunt Ann and Uncle Alan showed up to say hi!
Grandma Kult got lots of snuggles in with Alex.

We also had lunch at the Machine Shed Restaurant ...

Uncle Randy showed up too and kept Alex entertained while we ate!
Marcus had to check out the cool tractors with Grandma
When we got back, Aunt Mary and Uncle Jay arrived!
Marcus kept himself entertained by putting stickers all over his face on our drive to Denison.

And got plenty of quality time in with Dan's dad...

Alex was found a comfy spot on Sharon where he slept for several hours...
