It's been a busy few weeks with many comings and goings! First, Marcus had his four-month check up where he weighed in at 14 pounds, 15 ounces. He has officially doubled his birth weight and grew a whopping two inches since his two-month check up.
Two weekends ago, my boss offered us four tickets to the Cardinals game. We were a bit hesitant about taking Marcus to the game, and intended on only staying a few innings, but it turned out, he was very content watching baseball.. in between a few naps, of course! We ended up staying until the end with the Cards beating the Braves.
The following week we had visits from both sets of parents! Dan was traveling all week for work so my parents came down to visit for a few days. They kept me company, helped out around the house and entertained Marcus while I was working and at meetings. It was great seeing them and I really appreciated them taking time to come down!
On Friday, Dan's parents came. We kicked off the weekend with strawberry margaritas, a delicious homemade hummus that Tena made, and Mexican black bean lasagna - yummy!! For Dan's birthday, Tena and I made a delicious and light raspberry and lemon cake - wow, did that turn out well! Dan's parents were nice enough to watch Marcus while we attended a wedding on Sunday and we managed to fit in games, shopping and a walk. Such a great weekend and it was wonderful catching up. See you in a few weeks!!
