Scottsdale, Arizona

Kurt, Laura, Dan and I spent the last week in August in Scottsdale, AZ - so much fun! We braved the heat and went hiking, horseback riding, off-roading in Sedona and spent lots of time at the pool!

Here's our hotel room:

The first day we went hiking in the small hills behind the resort.

The next day we drove up to Sedona for our Pink Jeep Tour. On the way, we stopped at Montezuma's Castle. We captured pictures of some flowers and cactus too.

There was no way this guy was getting down in his Jeep.
Shopping in Sedona...

Happy hour at the hotel

Yes, those are all ties...
Our moonlight horseback ride

My horse Bruiser enjoyed stopping to eat...a lot.

5:45 in the morning...we decided to hike Pinnacle Point, right behind the Four Seasons Resort.

One of the shacks of Scottsdale...

View from Kurt and Laura's patio.

Dan gets creative during mini-golf.

This was pretty funny... Dan and Laura spent a lot of time on this hole.

We make put-put look pretty.

So much for being classy at the fancy restaurant :)

We didn't get to take our hot air balloon ride :( But we saw this on the way back home.
Dinner out at Maestros - August 27! Happy 5th Anniversary to us! And Happy 5th Anniversary to Kurt and Laura!

World's largest order of fries..

Cheers Laura!

Dan orders a flight of port

I'm pretty excited for my cake and coffee topped with whipped cream

Dan and I decide to climb Camelback Mtn. It was quite the trek. At noon. In the summer. In Arizona.

But the views were worth it.
