Trip to Hilton Head Island

Our friends Kurt and Laura invited us to spend a week with them on Hilton Head Island. We drove down Saturday and had a great time kayaking, bike riding, swimming and visiting the beach. We ate SO much delicious food, and got to build our own doughnuts :) Thursday, we headed down to Savannah and walked around the historic district. It was in the 70s and sunny the entire time, making it very hard to come back to winter in St. Louis.
Here we stop for lunch somewhere in Tennessee...
We arrive on Hilton Head Island!
Laura's parents' beachhouse
A view from the back...

Go get 'em boys! Dan and Kurt hit the courts
Meanwhile, Laura and I hit the beach...
It's a bit chilly...
Dan and Kurt play with the big frisbee.
Yes, the pool was closed the first day, but it opened later in the week - yay!
Mini Golf Champs!!

Laura climbs out of bamboo after retrieving her ball
Awww.. don't they look cute :)
A game of fanball entertains us one evening...
Usuing a butter knife and a collander, Kurt and Dan contemplate how to break into the house after we are locked out...
"Oopsie," says Laura...
Mmmmm... donuts!
We visit Habortown's shops and lighthouse..

On our last day, we drive down to Savannah, Georgia and walk around the historic district
